Intro to Criminal Justice // 02 & 04
The Introduction to Criminal Justice course is designed to expose students to an introduction and overview of the system of criminal justice operated in the United States today. Beginning with a survey of the sources, philosophies, and role of law in society, this course will provide a brief examination of those factors that distinguish civil, criminal and social justice from one another
Intro to Technology // 05 & 06
The Introduction to Technology course is designed to expose students to the ethics and the basic framework of technology. Emphasis is on terms, definitions, instruments, and acknowledging the discoveries of technology in the workplace. Upon completion, students should have a basic understanding of the application of technology and applying to future business endeavors
Business Law // 03
The Business Law course is designed to expose students to the ethics and legal framework of business. Emphasis is on terms, definitions, contracts, negotiable instruments, and the working of the court systems. Upon completion, students should have a basic understanding of ethical issues and laws covered in business decision making situations.
Business Office Career Exp. // 07
The Business/Office Career Exploration course is designed to expose students to occupational opportunities available in today’s workplace. Emphasis is placed on responsibilities, qualifications, work environment, and career paths. These courses may also include the importance of a proactive work experiences, college readiness, computer/keyboard exposure, and introduction to current employment trends.
